The Norscans live in the Northlands, or Norsca, upon the northern
borders of the Old World. They are a seafaring, warlike and feudal people, somewhat like
Vikings. They share their barren and rocky homeland with the Norscan Dwarfs, with whom
they trade and war as the mood takes them. They speak a language called Norscan, which is
widely understood in the North of the Old World. Physically Norscans tend to be tall, fair
or red headed with blue or grey eyes. They are usually neutral.
The Norscans love war and fighting, and they have no respect whatsoever for weaklings.
They admire strength, prowess in battle, shrewd trading, and the ability to hold
ones drink. They value honor, and despise cowards.
The Norscan Berserkers can be recognized by the bear or wolf pelts they wear. They
sometimes lime their hair and dye it wild colors. Norscan Berserkers are subject to
Frenzy.
All Norscans are subject to Hatred toward all Chaos troops.
The Norscans use the same runic alphabet as the Dwarfs, and they may take Dwarf Rune
Items, as permitted by the number of magic items they are allowed.

All units within 12 of the Raven Standard take any Psychology or Break tests on an
unmodified Ld of 10. In HtH combat, Break Tests are always taken at a value of 10, even if
combat results and bonuses would otherwise reduce the value to less. Ragnars

Thorvald, Ragnar's Battle Standard Bearer.....................140 points
Thorvald has followed Ragnar on many a Viking, and has distinguished himself as one of the
bravest of Ragnar's Huscarls. He is the only man that Ragnar will trust to carry the Great
