MORTAR
MORTAR at 80 pts
The Mortar is a smaller version of the Earth Shaker Cannon and is designed to lob an
explosive shell high into the air so that is drops down on the target from the sky. The
mortar shell is hollowed and filled with explosives and lava. A mortar shell explodes with
a tremendous bang, scattering mud, dirt, lava and shrapnel over a wide area.

Shooting
The mortar fires in the same way as a stone thrower. The mortar may guess a range of
12-48".
Damage
The model directly under the hole of the template is hit automatically. Any model at least
half under the template is hit on 4+. The model takes a S5 hit that causes D3 wounds.
Crew
The mortar have two crew to operate it. If one crew is killed the rate of fire is reduced,
the mortar takes a full turn to reload that means that you may not fire in the next turn.
Crew members may join other mortars to replace lost crew.
Equipment
The mortar is operated by two Chaos Dwarfs armed with hand weapons and wearing heavy
armour.
