LAVA THROWER

LAVA-THROWER at 85 pts
This device is similiar to the Skaven Warpfire Thrower, and work in the same way. A mix of lava and inflammable chemiclas is kept in a barrel carried by a crew member, a tube is attached to the tank and the barrel carrying crew member operates a pump that forces the mixture out through a nozzle carried by the other crew member. The front crew member direct the nozzle and a blast is hurled at the target. The Lava-Thrower is carried by two Chaos Dwarfs.

Shooting
The Lava-Thrower may not be moved and fired, though it may turn to face its target. Position the long teardrop template in contact with the front crew member and point it towards your designated target. Roll the artillery dice and move the template that number of inches forward. If the roll is a misfire roll on the misfire table.

Damage
All models that lies under the template is hit and suffer a S5 hit that causes D3 wounds.

Crew
If one model is killed than the Lava-Thrower may not fire, though the surviving crew member may join another Lava-Thrower and replace a lost crew member. The Lava-Throwers often band into skirmishing units, if so remove a full Lava-Thrower whenever two crew models are killed.

Skirmishing
Several Lava-Throwers may operate as skirmishers, VPs are given for each individual Lava-Thrower that is destroyed (ie both crew is killed).

Equipment
The two Chaos Dwarf crew members is equiped with hand weapons and wear heavy armour.

Misfire Table
1-2 Kaboom! The Lava-Throwers crew disappears in a lurid mushroom cloud. Any model within D3+1" take a hit as if hit by a Lava-Thrower template.
3-4 The fuel barrel catch fire". The crew member carrying the barrel runs helplessly 2D6" in a random direction before the barrel explodes, scattering lava over every model within D3". The models take a hit as if hit by a Lava-Thrower template.
5-6 The Lava-Throwers nozzle blocks and squirt lava over the crew, each crew model take a hit as if hit by a Lava-Thrower template.
